Since the opening of the Fire and Ice Hotel 2011 in Düsseldorf this is possible. The 4-star hotel is connected to an indoor ski hall , where the slopes are open all year round.
The flair of the mountains
The hotel brings the flair from the Allgäu to Düsseldorf. From cow carpet to leather trousers, here you feel transported to the Alps. In addition, the 62 rooms and 17 themed rooms contain the quality products of codex. In order to withstand the moisture loads of the hotel business, the walk-in showers were sealed with codex NC 220. Here, Anpado GmbH placed particular emphasis on the increased requirements for composite waterproofing. In addition, UZIN NC 192 rapid screed mortar was used on an insulation layer in the showers to achieve optimum load distribution and impact sound insulation. The 30 x 60 cm porcelain stoneware tiles in the entrance area and corridors were laid with codex Power CX 3 and grouted with codex Brilliant Cristal.
